This is horrible. Aside from Bunning saying something that isn't true (he suggested that it's not normal for players to hit more homeruns as they get older), he suggested wiping out steroids-enhanced records and then cited a known performance-enhancing cheater (Willie Mays) as someone who didn't need to cheat. Gah.

Anybody that boasts about how the past was so much better than the present piss me off too. Whether it be music, baseball or movies. As things evolve they should get better.

Evolution isn't necessarily a positive thing. Something can evolve into something worse, or something with the same value. Evolution doesn't imply anything other than change.

Ok, well in a sport or music or automobiles, the more a person studies on it the better it will become. Technology makes it possible to improve on everything.
