Halofan,
Ive been using your roster set for a while now. My online league has been through two seasons with the next to final 2004 pack. I recently used Dave Williams Orgin generator to create cities for the created players in the game and it led to a huge problem. Wanted to let you know about it. You use commas in the orgins of your pack. And since many of the programs out there pull from the CSV's that can lead to a problem with the comma you are using between city and state. I had to go back into my file and redo arm ratings for most of the league. This is not your fault obviously just pointing out something that you might want to change down the line. I know thats a lot of work beleive me. But just wanted to point it out. John Manard

Halofan I know the 40 or 25 man rosters can't easily be adjusted yet because its still spring training and too early to call. However, will the opening day set have the actual 40 and 25 man rosters?

Just a note to everyone that the next update will be shortly before opening day and will contain 25 and 40 man rosters (and other things that would take a while to mention
)

any plans of having the 2005 schedule incorporated in this? If not....does anyone else have the 2005 schedule done so it can be added to this?
Thanks. |

Hopefully this wasn't already asked. If it was, please forgive me.
Any idea when the opening day rosters will be available? |

I think you're missing Gusatavo Chacin (LHP for the Jays) on the set. If you could add him it'd be great.....Thanks.

I noticed Boston's Adam Stern isn't in the roster set.
Also 2 quick thoughts on Boston... I know Johnny Damon has a weak arm, but a 1 is a little bit silly... Their top 2 prospects, Hanley Ramirez and Jon Lester seem to be very underrated. Lester is a very highly touted lefty pitcher, and Ramirez was the reason they weren't worried about getting rid of Nomar, and almost didn't sign Renteria. I've been playing with the rosters tho... and I look forward to DLing the opening day rosters... thanks for the work you do |

Damon was fixed.....not exactly sure what happened there
As for Lester, he was one of the players that hadnt been adjusted yet to include last season. he was fixed about 2 weeks ago. When it concerns Ramirez, these ratings are done off stats. I input the stats and those are the ratings you see in the game. I have heard so many different opinions when it concerns him. I have hear he is Barry Bonds at SS, I have heard that he is comparable to Renteria. He may have the glove and the speed and playing in Boston, i would bet money that he would have 45-55 XBH, but i dont see him developing much power (ala the comparison to Bonds) and i dont think he will be as good defensively as Renteria (range wise and possibly hands). In my opinion he is a 3-3.5 star player as of right now. Keep in mind that this may change after this season and following seasons.

alright... that's cool, thanks for responding! Is Stern added tho?
Edit: As far as Ramirez's fielding goes.. in a spring training game... he leaped, ripped one outta the air that no one thought he was getting and turned a triple play.. hopefully his numbers in Portland this year will warrant an upgrade for later on or something

Stern was added about 4-5 days ago when i was told that Stern was going to be placed on the DL When it comes to Ramirez, each season ratings in the game are adjusted so there is a chance that he will be upgraded, but keep in mind, no matter what a player does in a single season, that doesnt make him the player he is in my set (ex. Adrian Beltre pffft)
