Cape Cod League

Would anyone be interested in a fictional league using the teams from the Cape Cod League?

I'm from New England, so the Cap Cod League would be a bit of an interest if you make it unique enough. Do you have a website or anything like that? What kind of settings do you plan on using and how many owners do you plan on having?

I havn't really gotten into thinking about details yet.. I just wanted to start a fictional league and I thought using the teams from the Cape Cod League would be pretty cool.

As far as number of owners I was hoping we could get one for every team in the CCL, which be ten if memory serves.

I think the league would be better served if there was more then 10 owners. However, its your call. if you do decide to have more owners then the 10...let me know.

or how bout this:

you could have a 10-team Cape Cod League, and a 10-team Boston League (with cities like Somerville, Cambridge, Everett, et al)...to make a 20 team league?

that would be interesting....

dola,

you could also make them smaller, call them divisions , and branch them out to make it more regional in New England / Massachusetts area

you know, towns like my fair city here in Mancho

I wouldn't be opposed to that. I'm not from the Northeast so I'm not very familiar with that area but I wouldn't mind getting more than the 10 Cape teams... the thing is I don't want to have so many owners that there are inactive teams, so that's why I was hoping to do just 10.

For you New Englanders, the New England Baseball League is heading toward its first championship. There will be at least 1 team available, possibly two during the offseason. We use a barebones rating system which makes things interesting. Please check it out. Send an e-mail to me at skzawadzki@yahoo.com if you want to get on the wait list for openings.

Now thats an idea i think would be fun. It would be even better if we can get some new englanders to join in and then name there team after there home town. That would be good stuff.

With more thought..

We could use our actually home town names, then create ourselves in the game. Give it even more of a personal touch...

Sorry, I've been kind of busy with school as of late.

There have been some good suggestions as far as implementing other teams into the league but I think that for the first few seasons I would like to stick to just the 10 Cape teams.
