Stadium photo question
I just discovered OOTP so sorry if this sort of thing has already been brought up.
I downloaded the Alinken's 2002-2004 MLB stadiums and in the "edit ballpark" area all of the photo files referred to *.bmp files (this I'm assuming came from using the included park and parkconfig files). However, the photos that were downloaded were all *.jpg files. So it was not finding the photos. I tried changing the reference to the photo file to "r\busch.jpg" instead of "r\busch.bmp" (for example) and it still gave me a black screen instead of the stadium photo. Then I tried changing the file to a *.bmp file by bringing it into Paint and switched the reference back to "r\busch.bmp" and then it worked. So first, does OOTP not accept *.jpg files for stadiums? And second, is there an easier way to convert *.jpg to *.bmp without having to bring each file into Paint individually (if I do end up having to convert them) or is there a place I can download the *.bmp versions? Thanks. |

Yes, the photos have to be in .bmp format. If you download IRFanView at irfanview.com, that program makes it super easy to convert from jpg to bmp.
