NO all-star game in Stickware schedule

It's a 20-team, 162-game schedule with interleague. Opening day, all-star date, and everything else was set according to the instructions. However, now that I'm at the all-star break, there is no game in the schedule.

Any way I can add a game? Help?

Not a problem. Open up your league file with OOTP, go to League Setup>League Editors>Edit Schedule and click on the calendar until you get to the date in which you wish to place the All-Star game, then click Add Game and you'll be in business.

Maybe it's some sort of anomaly because of the huge history you've built up for the league?

perhaps.

It will definitely be part of the off-season evaluation, though.

If I get the same problem, Stickware will probably get kicked to the curb. We shall see.

I am fairly certain that when you create the schedule at the beginning of the season - stickware tells you to "create" the all-star game on date XYZ (as well as the day the season starts on) - from there you go to the OOTP schedule editor and make those changes. I have done it dozens of times without issue.

not sure how it works, it you don't do it right at the beginning.

My bad. Follow the steps listed above. When you're in "Edit Schedule", click on "All Star Date" and then type in the date you wish the game to be played.

That should do the trick.

would that work when I'm actually at the all-star break? Seems like if it did, my rosters would be empty.

I did that, per the instructions with Stickware. I didn't check it though. The schedule date for the all-star game is correct, as well as the start day and date, there was just nothing there.

As long as there is a day before the All-Star game is played, to give the AI a chance to select a team, then it should work fine.

unfortunately we've passed the break, but I might go back to my pre-break backup league file and see what happens with this. (on a different installation, of course. )
