Ads for a 1950s league

I'm in a 1950s league, and we've added some ads to the website that would fit the time period. I thought I woud share them with you as I did them. I'm always up for doing more if anyone ever has a use for them.

This first one is for the St. louis Terriers. They are owned by Versteeg, a Dutch beer that has brewery right outside the park. Ralph Branca is one of their stars.

That looks like a fine league...really enjoyed looking at the logos...they really are excellent...as you know, I am partial to the New Orleans Pels...as they were known in the 1950's when I used to go to Pelican Stadium and watch Dale Long and Frank Thomas and Bob Purkey.

I'm quite partial to the Pelicans, too. I strayed a bit from history though, and named the park after Louis Armstrong.

This ad is for Bishopi Appliances. Chris Bishopi owns the Newark Bears and Bishopi Appliances, which sells refrigerators, washing machines, etc. Their star player is Hank Aaron:
