				Logo plea from a Newbie

Ever since I bought OOTP6 (a great game, by the way) I have come to this site looking for intelligent conversation on the game, and then later roster sets, logos, and stadiums. You guys have not let me down. The community here may not be large, but it is one of the most dedicated I have seen.

So when I got the urge to form a new fictional league last week, the first thing I did was come here. I searched for logos for hours, and though I did find many fine logos (there are some very talented designers here) none of them felt quite right. I have decided to end my career as a lurker to make a logo plea to the designers on the board. One late night some time ago, I came across an above average online game, All-Star Football. The logos for the teams in that game are excellent, but unfortunately, they are also on football helmets. My request is for the 14 logos of those teams. You can find the helmets at: http://play.pogo.com/help/allstarfb2...mEHCmb3ogAAKDw. Here is the list of teams I would like logos for and the colors for the logos(primary and then secondary): Atlanta Aces (Black, Yellow) Boston Bobcats (Black, Light Blue, and White) Chicago Bulldogs (Light Blue, Brown, and White) Dallas Marshalls (Black and Yellow) Los Angeles Dragons (Yellow, Red, and Silver) Miami Marauders (Grey, Red, and Black) New York Vipers (Yellow, Green and Black) Oakland Anchors (Silver and Black) Philadelphia Centurions (Green and Gold) Pittsburgh Yellowjackets (Red, Yellow) San Fransisco Convicts (Black, White, and Brown) St. Louis Knights (Black and Blue) Washington Ambassadors (Grey, White, and Red) Wisconsin Trappers (Blue, Brown, and White) These choices are not totally rigid, so if someone has something jump out at them, feel free to experiment with different stuff. I realize this is a lot of logos, but if you guys could come through for me, I would be eternally grateful.

those logos are too small to enlarge enough for use in OOTP (at least with my software/skills).

Oh. Actually, I was just posting the helmet logos for direction/inspiration, not necessarily to be directly converted for OOTP6. Sorry if I misled you.

Replicated . . . can add team name if you'd like. Just ask.

The black isn't true black. *edit* I added in the team name. Last edited by jmel07; 02-20-2005 at 07:57 PM. |

That's great, jmel07. If it isn't too much hassle, it would be good if you could add the name.

Just let me know if there is anything else you'd like different. Nothing is much of a hassle.

Actually, it's pretty much perfect. Unless you have anything you want to add, I consider it complete.

Is it just me, or do a lot of those logos look like the ones that come with the Madden games?

Here is one for the New York Vipers.

The graphic is from an old logo in the set of Henry's from way back when. |

New York Vipers like above but with the colors reversed. Couldn't decide on which I preferred.

			Fine logo, gmo.

Really like the Viper and the "V"...both logos are very good...couldn't decide which color was best. Last edited by Eugene Church; 02-21-2005 at 02:33 AM. |

I like the second viper logo. It is easier to read then the yellow background one.
