Soccer(Football) Primer.
I am intrigued by The soccer sims but have no idea of how the game is played, nor the little nuances. I s there any site or publication expaining the game and also the way leagues are constructed (Premiership ETC.)
Thanks. |

dola,
Any individual qs I'm sure you could ask here. On another note, if you want to listen to games to get the feel of them, www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/ is free and has archived games as well as all the Premiership games live. www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/sportscotland/sportsound is the same but for Scottish football. |

You might have a little trouble getting five live commentary. I'm in Germany this year and every time i've tried to listen to a match through the website i've got a "this webstream is only available for uk users" comment. But I could well be doing something wrong.
Also the best experience is perhaps to download the FM demo from the website. It lets you play until about february (about 6 months game time) and that should give you a good opportunity to begin to grasp the basics of the game. Just be warned, FM isn't a quick sim type game, it's very engrossing and takes a while to get through a season but I don't think the fans would have it any other way.
