I don't like myself?

Get this one! I have been simming a fictional league from 1901-1931 and I decided that over the next few drafts I would change some of the fictional player's names to mine and some friends. Of course, I chose players with Brilliant ratings as much as possible.

A few years down the road I found that 4 of us had made it to the big leagues and I actually won rookie of the year! Great! Two years later I won the MVP and became a free agent. As team owner, I signed "myself" to a 3 year $18 mil per deal [okay- a bit of nepotism] and I go on to win 3 more MVP awards, a World Championship and the first Triple Crown in the history of the league.

I try to sign myself to an extension and I say to myself "I DON'T LIKE YOUR ORGANIZATION

! wouldn't sign with me and it seemed like my whole team fell apart after that. Everybody else retired or also left or went in the toilet. I [the player me] has gone on to win 10 straight MVP awards and almost had two more triple crown titles, I'm zooming up the all-time lists and yet I seem strangely unhappy cause my team [the other me] can't win a lick [and I think I still don't like myself]!

There must be a lesson in this split universe but I can't figure it out. Maybe I need another "me".

Perhaps you just need a small clone of yourself. You could call it Mini-LeeSkye.

Seriously, the "I don't like..." thing is random. What you could have done if you have been regularly saving your league as you should have been is to restore an older version of your league prior to that moment and then rewrite some history. It's cheap, but effective.

he could also takesome prozac or wellebutrin, although a sugar pill might work just as well.

I have heard that a sugar pills works just as well as prozac in some situations.

Yes, and you have exactly that. Change some settings, download a roster or make one, and presto, it's 1964 again.

All I know is, that sucks when a great player doesn't want to sign with you. I had Josh Beckett once and he led me to the playoffs for a few years in a row. Then he didn't want to sign. That sucked.

If I really like a player, and he doesn't want to sign, I wait, let him sign with another player, and then trade for him. It's like it was all a bad dream...

In EBL, we are allowed to rename players if we reach scertain participation levels.

I had to trade my renamed player, to dump 3 mil, so i could make another deal for a 9 mill guy.

I traded myself!

Damn OOTP4 is creating split personalities all over the net! Must be a law against that. Or is there a law against that law!

I've got a whole family tree going. I'll create a rookie with my last name then another one when the previous ones career is about over. I usually end up trading them and they never come to a family reunion again. Actually had a pretty good catcher develop but the rest have been busts. Must have bad genetics.

I [he,him?] am now #2 in All-time Batting Average, #1 in Home runs, #1 in runs scored, #1 in RBI, #2 in doubles!
Ah hah, but he[I] is way down the list on stolen bases and no where on triples-so he [I] am a slug!

And he [I], it?] has not won a world title since he left me 11 years ago because he didn't like me so now I have the last laugh and can dislike [me, myself and I-pick one] and can laugh at myself in reverse! So there is a mirror to this OOTP4 universe. Or am I the mirror and ---
