option years, backloaded contracts, deferred payments

maybe in ootp7 there can be player/ mutual/ team option years, and have it so that you can set how the players contract is paid out annually, and also allows you to defer payments
Also, if a player with a big league contract is released, have them still listed under the salary report until their contract expires, or if you trade them to another team with cash, the amount you give the other team will still be listed on the salary report.
And maybe have something regarding no-trade clauses
Also, with ticket prices, maybe you can have it broken down so you can set different prices for different areas.

I love the idea of adding onto the financial aspects of the game, particularly backloaded/frontloaded contracts. Something else nice would be the ability to renogiate a contract with a player when not in his contract year so you can try to lock him up longterm before that final season. Also signing bonuses would be a nice addition

I would also like to see something where players demand an extension just a year or two into a long term contract. Kinda the way Sammy Sosa or Pedro Martinez were always complaining when they were with the Cubs and Red Sox. Or players demanding that they receive interest on the money they deferred without interest after the first year on their contract, as Sheffield just did to the Yankees. But mostly a gaming environment that allows for more interaction with the players, both positive and negative.

All the best,
Jerry

These ideas have been suggested MANY, MANY times...........but I have no idea if they will be added or not.

And perhaps different days, as some clubs now have premium and discount pricing policies.

Also, there should be an easy way to raise the price of tickets to postseason games.
