Four teams available in long running league

The WWBL has been around since 1997 when it started as a FPSBB98 league and eventually moved over to OOTP.

With a good number of original owners since 1997 still, we've recently had four teams come available and are looking to fill the teams with experienced fantasy owners - ones that will stick it out.

San Antonio - one of the most powerful teams in the league this one won't require much to compete but with arbitration in the off seaosn it has gone over the salary cap (which is set at 80 million) so will need some number juggling.

Pittsburgh - another of one of the stronger teams in the league it has both a strong major league roster and a good minor league system. Still sad this owner had to back out (new addition to the family has sucked his time away)

Valley Village - team has had a couple of inactive owners and is neglected. More of a project for those rebuilder types.

Atlanta - team was very strong up until the most recent owner neglected the team, is nearing a rebuilding phase.

The league has run with a salary cap since day one and has sat at 80 million for the last several season. When we started in 2002 with OOTP we started with a file of "real" players and for most drafts we've just let the engine inject players although we've had the occasional of "real" players injected. We find that letting the engine do it causes the least amount of problems though.

Ability Ratings: 1-100 scale
Talent Ratings: 2-8 scale
Other Ratings: 1-5 scale

We display star ratings and don't display ratings greater than 100.

Coaches and scouts are enabled, we're using the 40 man roster rule enabled, a waiver period, minor league options, Rule V draft, arbitration, and we have a 5 round amatuer draft June 1st.

We currently allow the trading of players, cash, and draft picks.

League sims three times a week with each sim period containing one week of game time.
