Guess I should sell my TV rather than risk seeing a minute of this show while channel surfing:

Benson TV show getting closer to reality

There's already been one popular TV show named Benson. There may soon be a second, albeit much different, one.

According to a report in the New York Daily News, Anna Benson, the wife of Mets pitcher Kris Benson is apparently close to a deal for a TV show focusing on her life, but including cameo appearances from her ballplayer husband and his New York teammates.

"I'm just like a pop-up character," Kris Benson told the paper. "I pop in and out."

A pilot was shot for the show during a game at Shea Stadium last season and Anna Benson has pitched the concept to VH1, ESPN and Oxygen.

The show might belong on HBO, however, if Benson makes statements like the one she made during an appearance with Howard Stern. She told the shock jock that if her husband ever cheated on her, she'd take revenge by sleeping with all of the pitcher's teammates.

Kris Benson laughed off the threat, saying his wife has kidded him about that since "Day 1" of their marriage.

"Everyone thought it was serious," he said. "It's Howard Stern. You're not supposed to be a Goody Two Shoes. I thought it was funny. It was old news to me."

I don't know if anyone saw this one yet, but I found it funny...

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page3...yre/annabenson

Particularly, her response to this question:

If Kris wins the Cy Young, how would you celebrate?

I think what's even funnier about this is someone asking a question that begins with "If Kris Benson wins the Cy Young..."

Judging from the stuff she said in that interview, I think she's better stick to her looks. What a crass woman.

Yikes! I hope for Kris' sake, that's not the only thing that makes her hot. Poor guy goes from the Pirates to the Mets.
