Burning OOTPv6 to Disc & Starting with Patch 6.11

I just downloaded to a new computer OOTP6 after having it on my old computer and I have a couple of questions that I can't find the answers to and hopefully someone wouldn't mind helping me out with.

(1) Now that I have used my e-license for the 2nd time, is there a way I can burn version 6 onto a disc or something to keep from having to deal with e-license again? If so, what folder and files and will it work?

(2) I have loaded up to patch 6.11. I understand there may be a patch after 6.11. Should I wait for the next patch or start a season only to be screwed because after I start a new season, the new patch comes out? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Greg

You'll have to deal with e-license regardless I believe. However, if you go into the e-license control panel you can unlicense the game on your old PC before a switch to a new PC so that you'll always retain your licenses.

6.11 Patch or Wait?

Thanks, now - how about this 6.11 patch? Do you recommend me starting my league now and a new season when a new patch is supposed to be on the horizon?

My concern is updating the game after the season and the patch messing something up from my just completed season..........

I would not wait for a patch to start a new league.

There will be a 6.12, there are no details when or what it will contain.

Can anyone think of any reason why I SHOULD WAIT for the new patch before starting from scratch?

Thanks

Saying there is going to be a new one, and saying one is on the horizon is 2 different things.

Yes, fine, but in neither does it say it's on the horizon. The next patch could be in June for all we know.

Ok, now that we have THAT issue out of the way, how about your thoughts on this:

Should I start a brand spankin news season with 6.11 now - or wait for the new patch? Any reason why I SHOULD WAIT?

Thanks

No there is no reason unless you want to wait for some of the fixes that might be included, which unfortunately no one knows about. So, you could wait for a patch that may be a month down the line, and fix nothing that is a concern to you, or you could start a new season, and then when the patch is there you can be all giddy that it fixed something that you were distraught on. Your call. Personally, i wouldn't wait, you could always start over.

One thing which I think I recall Markus saying will be fixed is the bullpen use AI. As it is now, closers on AI managed teams don't get that many save opportunities because they seem to be distributed to all the other relievers too. So once you apply the patch there will probably be a discrepancy in that category - the season leaders in saves pre-patch will likely be dwarfed by those post-patch. Of course, you could just role-play a reason for that in your league.

I think I saw a mention in one of those threads that he might go back to the transactions screen and try to fix some of the loopholes/oddities that exist now.

But that's not one to wait to start a league over. You can always play by house rules that say you won't use any of the loopholes.

Thanks for the Suggestions

OK, that'll do. Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like I'll gear up for a brand new spankin season.

Thanks.
