Americas Cup (World Series) Logo Request

The 2001 WHBL Americas Cup is upon us, and we're looking for a nice lil' logo for the series.

The final teams are the Calgary Nighthawks

Since there'll no doubt be a few stories associated with the series, I'd love to see if one of you guys wanted to take a crack at it.

Great looking logo!!

My *only* request is that the logo be less 'America'-intensive. I should've been more specific.

The series is between compete hemispheres (North and South) in the Western Hemisphere.

So...it's the Americas Cup, not America's Cup.

So technically we're looking at games played exclusively in Puerto Rico and Canada (obviously you know that), this time.

Any way to 'genericize' it?

Some convenient flag logos for Canada and PR, just in case you wanna give it a shot.

#2 is truly beautiful, BigCity.

#3 is well done....great baseball globe...really like the font on Americas Cup,
too.

What is the name of the font?

i have seen that Bigcity has done a great one. I wanted to give this a try, even if you don´t use it.

if i can make a suggestion

you should rotate the globe, so that north and south america are centered with the oceans on the sides. there are no teams from europe/asia/africa in our league.

i think you should just join our league since you seem to do so many graphics for us. the time is right and a few teams are open
