Shortened Season Development?

Hey,

I have a question, and anybody who could provide an accurate answer would be greatly appreciated.

Basically, I want to run a college type league. Now, college only has a 40 game season. So, if I set my schedule to 40 games, will the players rating development be as if they are missing out on 122 games of development, or will it adjust on the season basis, in that they will get in 40 games what they would have otherwise gotten in 162??

I don't know the answer to this but am curious myself. I've tried to do a short season before but my problem was with the financials being out of whack for a short season and teams not being able to sign a lot of the best players. I'm assuming you won't be using financials if you're doing a college league (well, I guess it depends which colleges

) but thought I would throw that out there.
