Historical leagues talk to me...........

My cousin and I are looking for an historical league to get into. Obviously, two teams would have to be available. We are currently in two leagues, and are very active owners and would be a plus to any league. Looking for a league with solid owners, that covers the time when ballplayers respected, and really knew how to play the game!

http://www.snowballhidalgo.com/ has a couple of vacancies, due to some inactive owners leaving. This is a historical league currently in 1965, having started 18 seasons ago in 1947. It's a tough league to manage in, due to stringent financial rules (ie. cash max of $10m), but the Commish does a great job, and the league has some unique features (eg. contract negotiations done via an Excel spreadsheet formula) and 18 years of history is up on the Catobase. Highly recommended.

We definitely have 2 openings in the EL/SA. Albany, Mobile, and Little Rock with Memphis and Birmingham possibly coming available soon. We just reached the end of our first regular season last night and the playoffs start Friday.
