The password was not allowed

Hi,

I have a bit of a problem concerning online leagues and connecting to a FTP client. In the internet leagues menu of OOTP, I put in all of the things, like server addresses and usernames.

I've already connected to my website through my FTP client, Core FTP. Now, all I need to do is get OOTP to transfer the files to Core, and I'm home free.

When I test my connection, an error message appears: The password was not allowed.

What password am I supposed to input here? I placed the one I used on my FTP in there first, and that didn't work. I then tried the username/password from the website I'm trying to upload the files to.

I don't know what to do, is it a bug?

Most internet passwords are case sensitive.

I'm pretty sure I'm entering them in all lowercase, which is what I always use for passwords.

Is it a very long password?

No, it's only 8 characters long.

I am the co-commisioner of this league with zach and we are just getting started with the league. I have not actually tried to get the site up yet as I am still trying to figure out how to set up an the league with OOTP 6.

You're going to need a fully accessible, up and running site or nothing is going to work.

You'll have to set up an FTP access account within your website domain and there you'll have to specify a password, which you'll later use for the FTP settings in OOTP6.
