How to hire personnel

I am running a team and fired a couple of coaches. Both offers I extended to new coaches were accepted but I can't figure out how to hire them and add them to the team. Both positions say "Pending Offer". The responses to each were


"Only time will tell if someone makes a better offer. But for now, yours is the best"


and


"I like your offer. It checks most, if not all the boxes".


How do I bring these people on the team for their respective coaching roles?

They haven't fully accepted the offer. You need to either up your offer or just wait. If there's personnel you really want, I'd highly recommend paying them above and beyond what you might think their market is. Blow them away with your offer so they're more likely to take it rather than wait to see what other teams offer them.

Like the poster previous to myself said - they have not yet accepted the offer. They are still just considering it


Speaking strictly from my experience, I have never had a potential coach tell me "no" or come back asking for more money any time they've ever given me a response similar to the ones you got. So the good news is, they will probably accept your offers..... but they haven't yet. Sim ahead a few days or a week and my guess is they will sign the contracts. At that point they will automatically be assigned to whatever role it was that they were offered.
