This is interesting. TwinsFan has had two better season then this one. He won 126 in the Bronze league and 127 in the Silver and did not win the Championship. In fact his worse season ever where he ended up in 2nd place in his Division was his only Championship. He had five better seasons then that one and did not win. So anything can happen. I am sure everyone thought when he won 127 and 126 games he was sure to win the Championship. Yet his only Championship came when he came in 2nd place with 101 wins...Most peculiar mama these playoffs are.

lol. It just amazes me. When I had my best year with 114 wins best in my conference and you also had 114 wins and best in your Conference and we both did not win the Championship that season. It would seem impossible that the Aqua Sox could lose because of their season record and are very hot right now with 15 straight wins but.....We have seen this show before and have been that team. 😁

I was all set to rest Pedro and almost guarantee him winning his 4th straight triple crown but then I saw that while the games don't mean anything to me, they mean something to other teams so Pedro will have one final start so go easy on him Zorro

Also TwinsFan , Now that I know you are on the board let me complement you on the WONDERFULL season you had. You absolutely destroyed me on the season. I really tried everything I could in the first half and you just left me in the dust. You really deserve to be the Champion. I just hope I win the wild card game so I get one more shot at you but you are truly something this season......GREAT JOB....

Good luck to everybody still playing today.
I am not one of you this time around with my lowest ever 85 wins. I think PT needs a Congressional investigation following this outrage. But, rest assured that I have put on my mad scientist disguise and am hard at work devising schemes to torment you all next season. ![]() Good luck! Remember it is just a game. Have fun!

I hate a one game series. I also hate playing FireAnte in a one game series. He is always a winner year after year. I will just start a hot pitcher and keep my fingers crossed. 🤞

Here's the breakdown of the playoff teams in terms of card strength.
The team that I admire most (all are great teams) is NC2 (Thalion). My own team (0/13/12) is not far from his in card strength, but he won 93 games and I won 68. Well done, my friend! Thalion's success makes me realize that my team is not out-classed in this league. There's no reason why I couldn't win it. However, there is no question that Thalion was better than me because of his management skill and not just luck. The key to success is to deploy your troops in a manner such that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Thalion did just that this year. I am impressed and better yet, I am inspired. |

Thalion and I have been in every league level together except last week. He is always in the battle to the end except that one year. His players took a vacation that week
It has been a fun PT rivalry from WS opponents to division dogfights.

THIS IS IT. Don’t mistake where you are, this is it. This is what we all play for. That elusive ring. The first wild card game is underway starting the playoffs.🏆

Good luck in the Wild Card! I also hate one game series, but escaped the second year in a row.
