Greg Graff finally got drafted this year. Great Plains took him 7th overall.

JAKE WILLIAMS
Traded again, this time to Houston

Greg Graff is a free agent, but has been a solid contributor.

Shane Scott's career lasted more years, but way less games than the original Shane Scott.

Lastly Jake Williams is also retired.

Why do my plays always get picked high but bust out? It's inevitable lol

Hmmm cool stuff. So that's 3 ASGs, 5 (Silver Sluggers?) and 5 of something else. Seems like he's already peaked and is going downhill at 29 though. What are his HOF credentials, because to me he only looks a little over halfway for a regular MLB, but you seem to have some inflated stats in this league so I'm not quite sure how he compares.

By the way his health must be crazy because I've never seen someone go that many seasons missing almost no games.

Remember it's an injury-free league. It was that way for over 250 years, then I started adding injuries, but I took them away again because it made it too hard to compare modern players in my league with older players who played in the same league, so I changed the conditions back.

Lately my newest experiment (currently 2174 in-game) is adding real-life ML players from history into the game without changing their names. It's been fun.

God damn the offensive numbers in this league are stacked. A guy can get 3000 hits almost 500 HRs and 1800 RBIs and barely get HOF consideration. I'm glad how it turned out though, as he still managed several more decent years after he looked done at 31.

If it's any consolation, the Great Plains Flycatchers retired his number #50 and it was an AI retirement, not even me doing it on my own.

If you add Chase Utley, let me know how he does. Nice seeing you here DC. :P

Here are some of my other big league imports. The current season is 2183.

Many of these guys are just randoms -- people I liked, players from the 90s, so forth.

I only went about half way through but why do they all seem to start amazing and then decline really quickly within a couple of seasons? Not a single one had a traditional career arc of "decent rookie ->Peak->Decline" as they all seemed to peak their first year and either be equally amazing after in a few cases, or mostly end up with negative WAR within 5 years.
