Just a bug I've discovered with the new release...everytime I'm done adding logos to a league, and I try select another one, I always get this error:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

Any ideas?

I also cannot load any leagues. The error message says: "Could not find a part of the path 'D:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2006data\saved_games'."

It looks like there's a missing backslash between 2006 and data. Is that a registry error on my end? Or something with the app?

That sounds like a bug. I actually have not tested it that way, but I will look into it. In the meantime, after you finish with one league, just exit and load the program again.

I fixed it. I went into the registry and found where it had the game's install path set to "D:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2006" (no backslash). I added a backslash, and all is well.

Awesome utility (in case you haven't heard it enough).

That is actually a bug in the installation, sometimes it happens, sometimes it don't. But it does not seem to effect the game.

New version

I enlarged to full screen, enhanced the screens a little. Added some friendly stuff.

I also added 'SAVE SET'. OK, once you get your league set the way you want, with team logos, league logo. Click on SAVE SET and a folder will be created under 'C:\AU2006\SETS\league name

You can overwrite the league name and call it something else. It will then copy over all of the team logos and retain their names.

So, let's say we have the 1957 season leaded up. We set each team logo (using my program) and also the league logo. Everything is nice.

OK, load in my program, select the league and click on SAVE SET. (It will overwrite the set that is already there with that name.) But, it will not erased the existing files that are there.

Now, let's say I created a 1958 league. The teams are the same, so I could click on AUTOLOGO and select this folder. It would then grab all the teams and league logos that matched, which would be all in this case.

Of course, now you could go and manually change any that you want.

And of course, the set can be saved at anytime.

NOTE: The program seems to be running smooth, but I have not worked on some stuff that happens if you 'switch leagues'. If you want to change leagues, it is better to exit and re-enter the program. I will work on that.

I have not changed it to allow the logos to be on another drive, coming soon though.

Not to quibble, but it affects the game big-time. I could not open any leagues before making that registry change.

If you have that 'registry' problem.

Create a file called path.txt inside the AU20006 folder. Make this what the path should be for my program to work. If the path.txt exists, it will use this instead of the registry entry.

As of now, the program downloads the current filelist.txt file. So, if you hit DOWNLOAD logos, it will download any new logos in the collection.

I added 465 logos today. In the future, the program will tell you how many you have in your collection and how many new ones I have waiting for you.

On a roll...

I added the fuzzy search.

This is awesome. It will find matches and let you decide if you like it or want to search for more matches.

So, if your team name is 'Boston Red Devils", it will find all logos with either Boston, Red or Devils in the name. It will even find Boston23 or BlueDevils. Devil is part of the name.

So, in a matter of minutes, you can have logos in your league! That quick.

This routine made me smile when it worked.

you are a GAWD!!

Thanks so much for this program and for breaking up the photos onto the FTP site - dude - that worked out perfectly for me - I just haven't had a chance to thank you. After having to restart a league many times because of problems - this logo program is the best! I spent the whole night last night just making sure all the logos where good to go - I didnt even play the game!!!

Thanks again - I would offer my wife to you for a sex act - but she's not up for it!!

Added the ability to store the images on other drives.

However, the AU2006 folder must still be present on the C:.

The only contents this needs is the INI files and the TXT files. You can move the other folders with the logos to another drive.

Create a file in the C:\AU2006 folder called drive.txt. It should just contain a single letter, like D or U.

This is JUST for AULOGO. The others will be giving this option later.

I also added a 'log' type thing to show you which files you have copied.

NOTE: I have added a filter that removes some of the 'common' words. Like San, Los and New. If this word appears by the first part of the team name, it does not use that in the fuzzy search.

Getting close on the upload portion of the program.

This is sounding great Comedian! I haven't had a chance to check it out yet (hopefully tomorrow) but I'm glad its working out how you'd hoped. This is a huge help to the community.

It is truly awesome. The only basic thing left to fix is the ability to switch subleagues without leaving the program. I have already used it to add logos to all of our minor league teams (something I thought I would never get around to doing, because it would take too long). You da man!!

Thanks! I am proud of this baby so far.

I will work on fixing it so you can switch leagues next.

Create a shortcut on the desktop in the meantime. To exit the game quickly, hit the black splat logo on the main screen.

I can't stop adding cool stuff to this program. Sorry.

I am working on this:

Click on KEYWORDS and it will bring up a window that shows all of the files listed in the LOGO folder. If you click on a logo, it will display the logo in question. It will also have a spot where you can add 10 KEYWORDS for each logo.

So, then I will add a new search function that searches the keywords.

So, for the logo that shows a big red bird. You could add the following keywords: red, bird, redbird, cardinal

So if it was the 1930 Yankees logo, you could have keywords: 1930, New York, Yankees, NYA

Etc..

What do you think of this idea?
