Not sure why the networks hire guys like Mike Pereira and Dan Blandino, as evidently they don't have a clue what they're talking about. Or do they?

I'm pretty sure one of them said it all happened before the whistle. Yet the whistle blew before he picked it up. According to replay.

Raise your hand if you had the Ravens and Cheifs out of the playoffs and the Bills fifth at the beginning of the season

I don't think anyone expected the Patriots to break out. As far as the Ravens go, they're the Cowboys of the AFC. They can be good, but you know they're not going anywhere. They lose more playoff games as the favorite than any team in recent history.

Gotta love Lamar Jackson. Out the 2nd half with a sprained vagina. One of the more overrated QBs in the league. Ever since he got his payday, he's out for weeks with any ding he might get.

This is now the 2nd worst uncalled pass interference I have ever seen.

A. Stopped Goff from scoring a TD
B. Would give the Rams a 1st and goal on the 1 yd line.

I'd have to say it's the worst missed face mask call I've ever seen.

The Rams had to settle for a FG to tie the game. Of course a 1st and G on the 1 yd line doesn't guarantee a Ram TD. Point being once the face mask call was missed one can only guess on outcomes. It's the same for the PI. Fumble, interception, sack, penalty, missed FG, the list is endless and applies to both NO with a first down after the PI, and the Rams with a first and goal after the face mask.

I'm not saying that you are claiming the PI missed call cost New Orleans the game. And fwiw it didn't. N.O. had the lead with 1:40ish to go, at home. Play some D. They also had the ball to start OT and turned it over. The Rams kept playing after their no call. The Saints? Not so much.

I have quietly sat back and watched since I made this post after week 1. I am not some NFL genius. The cracks in this team were evident all off-season and then Ragnow retired on them. Some said to basically take a breath, it was week 1. That wasn’t bad advice, fans can get over emotional, but I knew this was different even though I was hoping to happily eat crow on Christmas; but it was for not. I recognize teams like New England and then Kansas City gave the optics that you can have sustained success in this league, I don’t buy it as much. Can you be relevant, absolutely, but to win a Super Bowl there is a window. Can the Lions get back there? Sure, I think they can, but they need to operate differently and they certainly wasted a golden opportunity by not trying to improve this team this last offseason.

I took thought Detroit would regress. But this was bad. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD bad.

You lose by 2 td's to a team playing for nothing & starting a 3rd string QB, who could muster but 3 yds net passing when you knew you had no margin for error? That ain't a crack. That's a crater. That is a loss that would make me, if I was owner, wonder if I should have let Campbell go to Chicago & kept Ben Johnson. That would make me hire a private detective agency & find out if any of my players or coaches been hanging out w/known gamblers or mobsters.

There is nothing you could tell me that could make me rationalize this loss made sense. This loss put Campbell on the hot seat. I'm not suggesting he would get fired next week. But I am saying he would have to show significant results for me not to fire him before 2027's season. As grouchy as I am about the Panthers, I think this loss was even worse than any of the 2 Carolina had to the Saints. The worst loss in the NFL this year.

There are probably 100's of non calls in similar situations. I don't know why people call this the worst. For it to not be PI, the ball has to be above the two players. It was probably a 10th of a second behind. That's as close as it gets.

I disagree w/your disagreement. The defender was shocked when there was no flag. The announcers in real time thought it was PI. The only people who didn't think it was obvious were Ragnar or wore striped shirts. And it kept the Saints from all but punching their ticket to the Super Bowl.
