Is the curveball "doomed" too or just the changeup?

I think most of us are familiar with the idea that the changeup is sort of cursed when you draft a player with a poor changeup. I was wondering if a similar thing happens to the curveball seeing as it is also an offspeed pitch.

Thanks for any reply.

With all that movement, I think of the Curveball more as a breaking ball than as an offspeed pitch. Although, if you count everything that's not a fast fastball (as opposed to "fastballs" that aren't as fast as the fastest, like the Splitter) as an offspeed, then it's obviously both.

IRL at least, pretty much everyone should have a fastball, a change-up, and the next most obvious choice is probably the Curveball, or some other kind of breaking ball.

As far as what is doomed, I don't know. I don't pay that much attention to my pitchers' pitches. I'm definitely paying more attention now that we have the dev lab, but I still base my decisions more on the big 3 ratings.
