Milling Series - Game 4: #3 Horsefly Jazzy Razzy vs #2WC Sierra Nevada Narwhals
Horsefly soar to series clinching win Looking to avoid a return trip home for a deciding game 5, the Jazzy Razzy burst out of the gate with 5 quick runs in the first two innings. Before the Narwhals were able to put a run on the board, Horsefly had struck again with a run in the 4th and 6 more in the 5th to take a 12-0 lead. Sierra Nevada tried to chip away with some late runs but it was too little, too late, as the Jazzy Razzy claimed a 13-7 win and a 3 games to 1 series victory. Horsefly center fielder Doug Fontenot was awarded the series MVP with a .571 average, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs |

Milling Series - Game 4: #4 Charleville Half Wits vs #1WC Tree House Tornado
Tornado whirls into next round Despite the wild card tag, Tree House was anything but an underdog in their Milling Series matchup (102 regular season wins, 4th most in the league). While the Half Wits managed to rack up 12 hits in game 4, Tree House kept the damage to a minimum and only allowed 1 run to cross the plate, while scoring 3 of their own to claim a 3-1 victory and clinch the series 3 games to 1. |

Milling Series - Game 4: #2 Terrapin Hopsecutioner vs #3WC Stony Creek Crankenstein Late rally by Terrapin clinches series It was a pitching duel for the first 6 innings as Terrapin starter Gabriel Sanchez and Stony Creek starter Gus Cruz matched up pitch for pitch, giving up no runs on either side. The Crankenstein would strike first in the bottom of the 7th as they pushed 2 runs across to nab a 2-0 lead, raising the hopes of their home crowd that they might avoid elimination. The excitement built up to a frenzy as the game went into the 9th inning with Stony Creek still up 2-0. That excitement quickly faded as Terrapin rallied in the top of the 9th to score 2 runs of their own to tie up the game; and a collective groan washed over the park as series MVP Juan Spratley cranked a solo home run in the top of the 10th to give Terrapin the lead 3-2. Closer Marco Ayala would make that lead hold up and Terrapin secured a 3 games to 1 series win. |

While they were able to respond with a run of their own in the bottom of the first, it was all downhill from there for the home team. Four Hands scored 4 more runs in the 5th, then blew the game wide open with a 10 spot in the 7th. When the game mercifully came to an end for Jester King, the Typhon celebrated an 18-3 series clinching victory. Four Hands shortstop/second baseman Rich Jessie was awarded the series MVP for his .412 average, 2 grand slams and 9 RBIs. |

After chasing Jazzy Razzy starter Jon Hartley in the 6th inning, the floodgates opened and Ballast Point pushed across 7 more runs to claim a 10-3 win to open the Mashing Series. |

Mashing Series - Game 2: #2 Terrapin Hopsecutioner vs #3 Four Hands Typhon
Hopsecutioner stun Typhon with walk off For 7 innings, it seemed Terrapin had everything under control. After taking a 3-1 lead in the first inning, Terrapin tacked on 2 more runs in the 5th and another in the 6th to pad their lead to 6-1. Things took a dramatic turn in the 8th inning when Four Hands battered Hopsecutioner pitchers Joe Miller and Marco Ayala for 8 runs in the top of the 8th inning to grab a 9-6 lead. Four Hands would put up two more runs in the top of the 9th to make it 11-6 with only 3 outs standing between them and a tied up series. Unfortunately for the Typhon, closer Jim Ramos couldn't finish the deal. Terrapin would light up Ramos for 6 runs in the bottom of the frame to steal a 12-11 win and a 2 games to none lead. |

Mashing Series - Game 3: #1WC Tree House Tornado vs #4 WC Twisted X Chupahopra
Tree House on verge of Fermentation Series Twisted X jumped out to the early lead with a run in the bottom of the first, but their happiness was short lived. Tree House answered back with a run in the top of the third, and then three more in the fourth and another in the 5th to build a 5-1 lead. The Chupahopra picked up 2 in the 6th to cut the lead to 5-3 but that's as close as it would get; as the Tornado claimed another win to take a commanding 3 games to none lead in the series. |

Mashing Series - Game 3: #1WC Crooked Crab Furious George vs #4WC Funky Buddha Huki Idol
Pitching duel goes to Crooked Crab The casual observer could be forgiven if they glanced at Crooked Crab's line score for the game, 1 run, 4 hits, no errors, and conclude they were overpowered by superior pitching and fell short in game 3. Fortunately for Furious George fans, that one run was all their boys needed as the pitching combo of Matt Anderson (6 innings, 8 hits, no runs, 1 walk, 3 strikeouts), John Barry (1 innings, no hits/runs/walks/strikeouts) and Jalen Johnson (2 innings, 1 hit, no runs, no walks, 2 strikeouts) made that run hold up for a 1-0 victory and a 2 games to 1 lead. |

Mashing Series - Game 4: #2 Ballast Point Commodores vs #3 Horsefly Jazzy Razzy Horsefly buzzes past Commodores to avoid sweep Breaking out the cliches, the Jazzy Razzy needed to take it one game at a time, and not focus on the 0-3 series hole they were in. Thanks to solid hitting from Amir Little (3-for-5, 3 runs scored, 3 RBIs), Jesus Cruz (3-for-4, 2 runs scored, 2 RBIs) and Mike Dull (3-for-5, 1 run scored, 1 RBI), Horsefly avoided the sweep with a 10-4 victory in game 4 to narrow the series to 3 games to 1 for the Commodores. |
