The game vs the Giants was called due to bad weather. Tomorrow is now a double-header.

The first game was all Eddie Plank. He not only spun a 5-hit shut-out, but he knocked in 3 runs of his own as Brooklyn beat the Giants 7-0.

WP - Eddie Plank (14-5)
LP - Andy Coakley (8-10)

Record - 42-33

Plank is near the top of all Triple-Crown categories (though the gap in Ks means it is pretty unlikely he will pull it off.)

WINS

1. Bob Ewing (BOS) - 15
2T. EDDIE PLANK - 14

ERA

1. EDDIE PLANK - 1.35
2. Rube Waddell (PIT) - 1.41

Ks

1. Rube Waddell (PIT) - 167
2. EDDIE PLANK - 120

Save - Johnny Lush (4)
LP - Barney Pelty (6-12)

Record - 43-33
