You shout for joy over a walk-off home run.
You refrain from saying "no-hitter"—then get upset when an attempt at one is broken up in the late innings.

When you sit at work wondering if Dan Brouthers is going to resign with Buffalo, try to get with a team with better pitching, or take the big money offered by some bottom-dweller.

....when you wake up dead-tired for work, knowing you shouldn't have stayed up so late, trying to get another game or two in...then couldn't fall asleep as you were so pi$$ed off about your middle-reliever blowing the games, that you swore you'd trade him, nobody wants him..where do you get a good set-up man? what do you have to give up for one? then you start going over the lineups in your head, depth, starters.....and can't sleep...look at the clock, it's 2am......

when you spend a few hours on the weekend trying to train you cat to click No at the Historical Import question just so you can have the cat hurry you through a fictional history set in the 1900s.

How did the cat do? It didn't mistakenly let any historical guys in, did it?

He's doing well on that. I'm still having trouble getting him to understand that to lower home runs, he has to raise the number in the Leage Totals Settings.

Only Johnny Mize, Harvey Haddix, and Andres Gallaraga. It would appear Fred McGriff got deleted.

you watch a closer blow a save and say to your buddy, "They should have brought in Bookie Banks", and your buddy says, "Who the hell is Bookie Banks?"
This was classic. Epic!

When you actually cry when a player on your roster gets a CEI...
When you sit in front of the PC actually terrified when engaged in contract negotiations, thinking, *How many chances will he give me? When you are afraid to lose one game because the fans will stop coming When you trade a guy after only one sim because he is 'not playing up to his potential" When you try to use Outlook to send emails back to your players only to get them returned

When you start training to be a baseball player so you can take over at shortstop when your favorite player retires or just plain gets expensive.

You get fired from work and you say, I thought all you wanted was for me to not finish last.
