I did some manual touch-ups and came up with an alternative version that worked okay for now, but if you think that you could create another one that would make the underlying paint squares a bit more uniform and similar in color, to make the overall striping look more consistent, that would be great. But don't go too far out of your way, as I at least have a working alternative at the moment.
The problem was transparencies and I think have corrected the problem. I will release it as well as bring back multiple stripes for version 1.03 of the Template that will include the 1900s template.

Not trying to be pushy, but do you have a time frame for releasing the new version of your templates?

I also wanted to thank you for creating these!!! Great work and saves a ton of time.

How do I update uniforms for traded players

I'm playing my fictional league with the tool which is excellent. Though this may have been asked before I need help.

How do I step by step change the uniform for a player that has been traded?

For example Jerrod Taylor is a releiver that played for Las Vegas Gamblers and had been traded to the New York Atlantics.

When I look at Jerrods photo though he on the Atlantics Roster he is still pictured with the Gamblers uniform on.

How do I change it for him and others traded in my league?

Just do a new csv dump load the game file into Face Tool and press the do it! button. It will redo the uniforms.

error message every time

Installed FT and everything seemed to work fine, but every time I try Load Game and select my league folder, I get this message:

Any ideas? I uninstalled and reinstalled and still get this message. I also tried deleting the configuration.ini file and rerunning, but to no avail.

Let me start by saying I'm new to the face tool so I'm probably missing a step or something. First, every time I start it since the first time I've started it, it says this is my first time and have to go reselect the folders and it gives me an error saying "Could not create alias FaceTool1 in C:\Program Files\OOTP FaceTool". I just ignore it because I think that's because I'd already set it up previously.

Second, I can't get it to run on my saved game. I exported the database as CVS and when I try to load the game I get a really long error that looks like:

'1, "Major League Baseball", "MLB", 206, 0, 0 ...(Goes for many many lines)...' is not a valid integer value.

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

EDIT: I just saw that J.HenryWaugh just posted right before me with the same problem. His error looks pretty much the same as mine.

You need to change the delimiter in the dump file to be a semicolon ( ; ) in order for the tool to work.

Hope this helps.

Just thinking

Do you think you could release one to do coaches? Not that important... just thought it would be cool. Sorry if somebody brought this up before

As usual, Scotty V comes thru. One of the truly helpful guys from OOTP's pioneer days. The semicolon did the trick.

But it didn't do up photos for everyone. Even guys with 200 IP and 540 ABs were left out on some teams. Any idea why?

I have been stuck with this error since the release. I think it has something to do with the Borland Engine on certain computers, but I really don't know for sure......or how to fix it.

I've just been checking each day to see if a fix pops up. At the least Layton knows about this by now.

Guys, I truley do apologize for being lazy here as I have been away from OOTP for nearly two months. Are there directions to how to use this utility? It seems or appears to be straight forward but I would like some help. Specifically if I run into issues or how to create new unis.

Thank you.

Change it in your OOTP game preferences from within the game. The latest patch changed the default delimiter to a comma, but you need to set it to a semicolon. Once you've done this, run a CSV data dump, and then your files will work with FaceTool. You don't have to bother with anything in Excel.
