I like the name and colors. Both are good.

Spokane Bunch Grassers
I promised these a while back to "Joe from Chicago" in response to his Historical 1891 PACIFIC NORTHWEST LEAGUE schedule he posted in his Historical Minor League Schedules thread... BTW you should check it out, some really nice work there... It includes a team called the Spokane Bunch Grassers...
bunch grasser =a range horse living upon bunch grass, a dense turf grass of the West. “Why didn’t you let him climb his own way? He knew,—he’s a bunch-grasser.” Vingie Roe, The Heart of Night Wind. I told him team with a name like that deserves a logo and uniform to go with it... I asked Knuck to work on it some too, but somehow neither of us could ever came up with a graphic for it... I found this drawing and it seems to suit the name... So without further ado, here ya go Joe! ![]() ![]() |

Hey guys!
Just a friendly reminder that I still need the Dubuque Packers and the Fresno Giants jersey sets. Also, I made logos for all the teams I requested, so you no longer need to do that. |

New England League - Burlington Maple Sox
Getting back to the New England League, I really wanted Burlington or one of the Vermont teams to have a name related to the maple industry there. I went with green for the Green Mountain State and orange for the leaf. I also did a more traditional colored logo. I considered Sugar Maples and a few others, but this one seemed to work best. Let me know if anyone has a better idea for a nickname or a way to improve the logo. Thanks.

Additions to the Keystone League
Hey I was thinking about the keystone league and realized that there are not enough western PA teams. How could you leave out the oil region?
![]() Titusville was the beginning of the oil industry in the United States. A team could be called the Titusville Drillers. It has a ring I think .Pittsburgh Three Rivers(or Keystones)? Johnstown Johnnies(A real baseball name, not my idea) Oil City Oilers(you already did this for me, but could be used as a minor team) Keeping up with the oil theme, the Oil Creek Boomers(Oil creek valley is a region the encompasses Titusville and Oil City. If you used one of them, this one might not make sense.) Franklin Knights(No real historical significance, but you did the logo for me.) Indiana Miners (Had a big coal mining industry in the early 20th century.) State College Lions? New Castle Pyros?(A big player in the fireworks industry) There is also a lot of native american history in SW PA. I'm not sure about a city and nickname. Just some ideas I'd be happy with anything you come up with.

Retro Style Logos and Uniforms
Sorry I'm on a roll. How about Ohio players turned into the Montreal players? Toronto needs a rival. Using Montreal polar bears colors?
And the Montreal polar bears as the Eau Claire paws?
