Leagues sticky???

Hi, I'm relatively new to the online league deal. I've joined 3 leagues all in the last few weeks!!!!

The mods forums has sticky's for all kinds of thing like addons and schedules.

So I was wondering, why no sticky that lists all or many of the great OOTP leagues that are out there?? Does anyone have any idea how many there are??

It might make a nice reference for people looking for leagues or seeing how other leagues are run.

Just a thought

It simply wouldn't be fair to the other leagues that don't have their league thread stickied.

How so???

There are probably some leagues who might like it and it would give them some attention which they're not getting now.

Also I'm sure many leagues exist where owners may not even pay attention to this forum anyway.

Plus, I'd assume it'd be a voluntary listing since some leagues might not want to be listed, which is fine too.

All that would be necessary would be a stickied thread and league commish's could post whether they wish to be listed. Kind of similar to the schedules thread in the Mods forum.

If there's no interest then the thread could be deleted eventually.

I'd be more than happy to maintain such a thread if it was allowed.

It still singles out all of the other leagues who don't have stickies, in which some commissioners may be unhappy about because their league isn't "in the spotlight" for lack of a better term.

Why not sticky a thread for the three types of leagues?
One for fictionals, historicals, and real player leagues.

Then the commish could make a post with the essentials about his league.

I think it should be stickied too, but you can check out the OOLD link in my sig. It doesn't list all the leagues out there, but it currently lists around 70 and you can filter them by a number of criteria.

Yeah, I saw that link later on when I read one of your posts and realized someone already had that idea.

I think we should have a sticky with links to the leagues and the commishes can post details just like in your post.

I don't think he's talking about numerous stickies. Just one sticky. In which each commish could reply with their league details. If every league had a sticky no new messages would ever be seen on the front page.
Also, if a commissioner can't find the time to make one reply to a thread, then he probably doesn't care that much about being in the spotlight.

One sticky for fictionals, one for real player leagues, and one for historicals.

...and one for leagues that started as real players but are slowly transforming to fictional!

at that point, I'd say move that league's post from real player to fictional.
