Is there something available that can edit the year a league is in?

I've created a fictional solo league, but now have decided that I'd like it to start about 20 years earlier than I initially wanted.

Its at the initial draft stage--nothing has been done yet. So is there a way to change the year of the league or will that screw up all the players' ages?

Just let me know witch year you want and give me a link of your league.dat file.
I know where to change it but I dont know the result of changing it.

Here's the league.dat file zipped up since we can't attach .dat files, but what will this do to all the players' ages since I'm assuming you can't change the year of birth of all players.


Change the league year to 1885 if it won't screw up all the players' ages.

With an Hex editor.... the year is store almost at the beginning of the file.
Offset 34 and 35 of the file.

The year was 1895 and I changed it to 1885.

And I dont think the age of the players changed.

Ah, I guess I just don't know what I'm doing. I see the change in hex from "67" to "5D" and the corresponding change in text from "g" to "]", but I don't understand how that changed it from '95 to '85.

What you see on the screen is in Hexadecimal, you need to find the equivalent in decimal. Example 1985 = C107 and 1995 = CB07

So instead of 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,etc ...
it's 00,01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09,0A,0B,0C,0D,0E,0F,10 ,11,etc...

You can find calculator or tables on internet for sure.
