Arena Baseball League

Due to the popularity - or downright curosity - of this idea in a thread I started in the dynasty section, I'm interested to see if people would be interested in an online league of a - different sort. This will obviously be different than the normal leagues you're used to.

We can discuss plans, solict ideas on our own board and if we agree, launch the league.

I'm open to ideas and believe that this could be a fun thing to do.

A little odd, perhaps, yes. But its not intended to be conventional, the idea is to sorta defy convention. The game will obviously change and they'll be necessary adaptations that need to be made in order to be a successful owner in the league.

It'll be an experiment and I think it will be interesting to see the progression. And while it might be amusing, remember, they used to laugh at Arena Football and now, owners are buying in.

Who knows where this can go..

The initial league structure will be 8 teams, fixed salaries during the first season for teams.

Each team will be able to sign three players to multi-year deals, while all other players become free agents annually.

We already have four owners, so there is still a little room. This league should be fun and different than any of the leagues out there.

So...give us a try.
