I went through the 1069 season just so I could witness that unicorn of a franchise in action. Unfortunately the stadium - Sick’s - was awful, like bad for the PCL. I believe the Cleveland baseball team was pondering moving to the PNW but they took one look at Sick’s Stadium and said “no way, Jose”. When they expanded it, they hadn’t even finished by Opening Day 1969 and there were construction workers working during the game. Worst of all, when the place got crowded, the plumbing got overwhelmed and stopped working.
