Player that generated for an inaugural draft (Also ended up being an All-Star and Cy Young candidate, but that's not the point).

I'm pretty sure nicknames are randomly assigned. Well, I don't think it's entirely random who gets assigned nicknames, just that I don't think the game cares what nickname they give the player they choose to give one.

You can add or change the nicknames at the end of the database\names.xml file, if it doesn't crash on you from being so needlessly big that is. You can also edit a player's nickname in the player editor. I recently had a guy, without a nickname, named Shugo Wada and so of course I had to give him the nickname Sugar Water.
