accessing reports while playing a game

Is this possible? Or does one need to save and leave in order to access the amazing depth of the statistical reports?

You are correct that you currently have to save and leave in order to access reports unfortunately.

When you do re-enter a game, I think the game will default to having both teams fully controlled by the AI so make sure you reset those back!

That would be an excellent improvement for the next version of the game, in my opinion.
