Expatriate League Quickstart

This one will have limited appeal, but it's also not like any other quickstart you've ever used.

The Expatriate League is a fictional quickstart that's already loaded with 15 seasons of history from its existence as an online OOTP league based in Finland. It was run as a fast-sim league, so there are no injuries.

This file presents the league based in the United States with only 12 teams (down from 14) and with a pool full of FAs. The teams uniforms and logos were sourced from OOTP forums (mostly txranger and low's sets) and the minors/college/HS teams are all based on real minor league clubs.

Whether you decide to turn injuries on or not, it'll be a fun adventure chock full of talent, with memorable names that you'll be able to immerse yourself with and even a few Hall of Famers from our first generation.

If you want a manageable solo league experience, this is a good Quickstart for you.

No one asked, but after a season I expanded the league and added more expansion teams. The league now has 22 teams between two sub-leagues, as I thought there was too much concentrated talent and it needed more diffusion. I've turned on injuries, too and the stats resemble early 1980s baseball vs. the booming 90s+ baseball that the original league had.

I also added a Rookie level to the minors, so talent has more room to grow.

We'll see how it goes and eventually I'll release it.

Here's an updated version of the Quickstart, because it works better.

- Expanded the league to 24 teams (2 subleagues 2 divisions apiece)
- Fixed financials because you were eventually going to get an overflow error in the last one.
- Updated some of the ratios of where players come from, still a very diverse global league.

It's a fun league with lots of memorable players already into their careers, so there will be lots of good stuff to build onto if you decide to play it for decades!

Is this an OOTP21 league? It looks fun. I might try it out and take over Plattsburgh. My brother was stationed at the Air Force base there in the 1980s.

Yes, this is for OOTP21. I'll make a 22 version in short order though.
