Promo Days: Unfair Advantage?

There's been some talk in one of my leagues that promo days give an unfair advantage to the better teams (because they have a better chance of winning on their promo days). I was wondering what most people here think about it. Are the people who say the above missing something? I think perhaps they might be otherwise I think Markus would have tweaked it in some way that the better teams don't necessarily have an advantage. Perhaps like a system where when bad teams beat good teams they get a big boost whereas if good teams beat bad teams there is only a small boost.

Don't know how realistic your suggestion is, but one thing I think would help would be to have the promo days mirror real life--where the promo days are normally set before the season starts.

This way, the better teams would have less of an advantage, because it would be more difficult say to have their #1 pitcher be sure to be pitching on the promo day, no?

The idea of a victory in one particular game (a promo day)increasing fan interest more than any other victory is unrealistic to begin with. Perhaps instead you should get random bumps of fan interest tied to promos, with the chance of a bump increasing as you run more promotions. For example, you get an e-mail: "Our 3rd promotion this year was a big success, and fan interest has slightly increased"
