Forum Issues?

Is anyone else finding that certain threads aren't showing up when they click the new posts link when they should? Like threads you recently posted too?

since the new forums went up...

if i open multiple threads in tabs to be read while not logged in, then log in on one to reply, in the past refreshing an open tab after refresh and also show me as logged in. now, not so much.

if i then log in while replying to one of those previously opened, i think it caused a double post twice recently. i definitely didn't hit "back" and double post.. i'm not 70years old and think there are gears in a pc or that the internet is "a series of tubes" like some out-of-touch congressmen, lol.

thought it was js being disabled, but i have it on now and still same. may still be related to teh double post... #$#@'n javascript, lol.

Yes I've posted on it twice. The new post function is now badly flawed. I get 20 pages of posts that are not new but unread. Duh, they're unread for a reason and I shouldn't be seeing them in my "new posts" search.

As you say posting to a thread which should put it on top of new posts now makes it disappear if you click on "new posts": while 19 pages of posts I don't want appear continuously.

This change in functionality is very annoying.

I think there is a change in the forum behavior. Now it seems that "new posts" will only show threads that you have not read. So the thread in which you posted will not show on the list again until someone else posts in it. Previously, I think it did show the next time that you checked the list.
