What do the Readers want?
Hi, I am the writer of the Oakland Athletics Franchise on here and was wanting to start a new series, as well as carry on with Oakland. I would be very grateful if you were to vote! Link below.

The best stories are stories you care about. Writing for other people is tough because if you don't get the feedback, it makes it hard to continue. I've found historically that people gravitate towards creativity, energy and consistency. Simplicity helps too, but a great storyline is even better.
If you care and are interested, people tend to follow along. Looking at what works for other people can be a good guide, too.

Also, it may take a bit to find the dynasty story you want to do. I have started some in the past and got bored, so I've stopped doing them. No point in continuing when writing becomes a chore.

This link may help you.
Many of the fine dynasty writers give their opinions. http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ty-league.html There is also a link in that thread that covers the same subject of what makes a good dynasty. Bottom line: If you enjoy your dynasty... that's all that matters... you don't have to please anyone but yourself. Keep the number of teams small so you can be totally immersed in them and you don't get burned out on covering them... 8-16 teams max. Last edited by Eugene Church; 07-03-2015 at 10:48 PM. |

Do what you want but I always love to see full rebuilds, like the Phillies or Diamondbacks for example. It's your choice though in the end.

Yes I thought I might have not made that clear enough. There are already loads of dynastys, and I much prefer managing real teams. Thanks for the help anyway!
