Good Idea!?

Since markus is having all these things for the gms like getting married,why doesnt he have something like that for the players...not getting married,but like players getting in trouble with the law like DUI or something and they can have those kinda things in the news...what you guys thing?

I actually edited my injury file for one league -- added things like you mentioned (DUI, drugs, domestic abuse, racial slurs in a magazine), with different "penalities" (injuries).

Added a little something to the game, but sure did suck when a player on my team I'd identified as the leader/saint got caught with a prostitute!

I had my backup 2B out 4 days due to Narcotics Possession during the playoffs.

it wouldnt be too much...itll be like in real life...i mean markus can make another attibute for a player like "badboy" or something and you know something like that

The only reason i wrote that cause the "NEWS" post gave me the idea...and i think it would be a really cool add-on to the news

I love the idea. Your star pitcher who has the world at his finger tips could get in trouble with drugs, never fully recover and become a constant dissapointment to his fans.

this would add a lot of character to the game... i think the game needs a lot of improvement in that area... can be bland sometimes...

I hope the news in OOTP5 is completley redone... and not the same news stories everyweek with different names.

maybe make up some whacky characters that do a column every week... and give each charcter/writer a personality... maybe one guy is an ******* and trashes teams, players, managers.. He could verbally attack you (the manager in the press). and maybe you could react to it as a manger...

maybe one guy does funny stuff. one guy is a complete moron and has no clue and writes ridicoulous stuff. which is just funny.

Have stories throughout the year on the college or highschool guys who are gonna be avail in next years draft... start hyping em up... make it exciting... like Lebron James w/ the NBA...

have one of them make predictions on something everyweek... could be tons of things to make predictions on..(odds in vegas of teams chances of winning, predict who will have monster years, who will emerge as a superstar, which teams are on the rise... and then at the end of the year give a report see how he predicting them.. would be kewl to see if he guess any right..

have a rumor guy who makes rumors.. maybe someone is being shopped... a manager is about to be fired... possibilities are endless
