Arena Baseball for OOTP14

I spent quite a bit of time improving my original Arena Baseball Quickstart, shortening the season and making it work where the stats are more "realistic." I think this new and improved iteration is a huge step forward and so, if you're curious, give it a spin and let me know what you think.

The OOTP13 version is here. But it's not as good as the OOTP14 version, I really had to refine the whole practice of arena baseball and make it work a lot better. Not that the old one is bad. It's just the new version's works pretty well. That said, you can at least begin to see how it'll work for you if you download the 13 version.

I will wait til i get 14 to try the 14 version. How did you do the stadiums? I saw that Texas and San Diego played in the Alamodome and loved the dimensions of it.
Edit: I did download the 13 version before and forgot about it. I'll mess around with it on there for a bit.

I don't remember what I did. I feel like I used the ballpark spreadsheet to create the arenas dimensions. Sounds like something I'd have done years ago.

I like the idea. I'm going to give it a whirl. I would have liked a little more uniformity with the logos though personally.

I have tried this, but it said it won't load because it's missing world.dat

It doesn't miss world.dat, the file should work. It's had hundreds of downloads and other people seem to have gotten it to work too. But let me know if others are having problems and I can reupload obviously. Just never heard of any problems prior -- people seem to be using it fine and enjoying it from the PMs I've received.

Dark I downloaded the OOTP 13 version, does this version have stadiums/arenas? I want to re do my 4 Sports League and need arenas for NHL & NBA

Nope. I just have a standardized arena for all teams.

Can you post it? Maybe i can get someone to edit for the NBA and NHL teams.

Also what modifiers did you use? i was thinking of using dead ball era for NHL modern for NFL and 1975 for NBA. NFL will play in MLB parks.

grafton19 I got the same message as you did. By any chance are you on a Mac?

I am on a Mac and what I did was re name it Arena Baseball 2014.lg and put it in saved games folder then loaded it up in the game. I works for me this way.

Download it for OOTP14 & really enjoyed it, some wicked scoring in the game. AAA+ a great quickstart game. I'm going try the 1 for OOTP13 now.

I mostly wanted to get this rolled out, so I cared less about those things at the time. However, you might have inspired me to upload an update of this league with new uniforms and team names.
