Bringing Back The Peanuts (Streaming Dynasty)

The successful of the San Jose Acorns meant that the venerable San Francisco Peanuts struggled at the game, beset by poor ownership and a rudderless organization that didn't seem to know which way was up.

Ownership was itching to sell, but couldn't find a local owner to meet their price. Enter an ownership group from Birmingham, Alabama who wanted to acquire the Peanuts and move them to Georgia or Alabama for the upcoming season where in the 19th season of ABA baseball (since the reboot of the 323 year old league)

Their plan was to move the Peanuts from San Francisco to their new southern home. Owners upon approving the sale of the team and discovering their intentions were incensed. Luckily for the Alabama ownership group, there was a reprieve in the form of the bankruptcy of the Dayton Tigers (formerly the Baton Rouge Red Sticks) who were liquidated. All of the Tigers were given free agency and the franchise terminated.

An AL expansion team was awarded to Birmingham and ALL of the contract from the San Francisco Peanuts were transferred to Birmingham who are now the Birmingham Bandits.

Meanwhile, San Francisco keeps the history of the original club and for the current season will effectively become an expansion team.

To stock their roster, the Peanuts will be able to select one player from every club in the league except Birmingham (they were able to keep one player. Their choice? We'll get to that later...)

Our first video episode will be a stream of me selecting players for the San Francisco Peanuts and playing out the season with the roster we select.

The rules? Only reserve roster players are eligible for the expansion draft which will be recorded as a trade for $1.

The hilarity is in the previous dynasty with San Jose, the idea was to create an empty cupboard team that had to play out its life as a terrible team and grow from there. Well, that team I let the AI have its way and we won two titles in three years and they're one of the best clubs in baseball.

Now I take the team across the bay into a brave new world as an expansion club.

I'll probably keep streaming because it means I don't have to type, but I'm going to think through the ways to do it because I don't think it's all that great to look at and so...yeah.

Computer did to this team what it did to San Jose, they aren't quite as good, but...I'm debating what to do next with it. Also need to turn on AI changes. Or if I just want to go back into god mode and look around the entire league.
