Creating Fall League

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone has an idea on how to implement the Arizona Fall League or a Winter League within an existing online league on ootp 13.

I'm a newer commish and want to create the AFL to keep my league active during the offseason. Does anyone know how (or if) this can be done?

Just create a new league with the six AFL teams. Remove all of the MLB team affiliations, and set the league type to Winter League. The Commissioner will have to manually move all of the prospects to the AFL teams, and then move them back at the end. I did this for my historical league, took maybe 20 minutes each time.

In SLOP, we have a winter league that runs through our off-season. To make it easier, just each team in the league has a winter league affiliate and it operates like a minor league except it runs through the off-season.

Works like a charm and with ghost players activated, teams only have to put whoever they want there or no one.

What's nice about this is, as a commish, it's even less work than trying to create a consolidated fall league.

the issue I see with this is if you dont micro manage your minors, and you auto your teams you may have players sent to those teams and they wont play all season long or is there a way around that or being a winter league/fall league players wont be sent there?

If you don't allow your AI to make changes, then no one is sent there without you choosing to have them there.
