After 1998 Expansion draft allow E. League Option to become available.
In Historical League in Spring Training in News show like Injures and so on because it doesn't and also if you don't have Draft turned on the people to show up to sign.
When somebody creating a Database full Roster from that year not just like 40 people maybe.
Announcements like Barry Bonds declares for the Draft or files Free-Agent like in real life and so on.
Voting to see who gets in Hall of Fame.
Inter League play all year round and Schedule games overseas.

some of the stuff I am having trouble understanding exactly what you want (mainly the E. League option), but I very much agree with you on HoF voting, and the declare for FA news items. The game already has a way to sort of track the big time players who file for FA when the FA filing news item is displayed and it contains a list of who is supposedly the big time players on the market. But to itemize them into players, probably best determined by national popularity, would be a nice touch.
