Demo version message after re-install
I'm not really a newbie, but this is a newbie type question. I was trying to debug a problem. So I un-licensed, then un-installed, then re-installed the game.
Now I get a message pop-up when I start the game that I'm using a demo version, asking if I'd like to purchase. But when I re-installed the game I entered the valid code. I followed the "purchase" link to see if I just needed to re-enter the code, but it took me to a virtual store instead. So what's going on? Do I need to do anything? Thanks Last edited by jmknpk2; 04-03-2010 at 06:48 AM. |

I took another look at this situation. I do not see any means of entering the order id or otherwise specifying that I am a legitimate owner of OOTP X. All I see is an option to "Buy" that takes me to an online shopping site.
I entered the order id when I installed the game. It did not give me any error message or otherwise indicate a problem with the order id. Why am I getting the demo notification? How do I resolve this? I really would not want my legitimate use of OOTP interrupted. |

Thanks kq76. But the problem mysteriously disappeared after a couple restarts and maybe a reboot.
