Why difference in price between EU/America?

Hi!

I was just about to purchase OOTP 10 when I realised I have to pay 41% (€ is wort 141% of the $) more because I live in the EU. Can someone please explain why? (Price in US is $39.99 in EU €39.99 with todays exchange rate difference is 41%)

I can't see any additional costs for the company if they sell to Europe. It´s still downloaded and I can still pay in $.

I think it's down to tax, however whenever I buy something from the States and I do this on a regular basis they don't add on 41% to the price you'll have to ask somebody who's more in tune with tax and economic laws but hurry as this thread like the others about pricing will be closed
