Middle Relievers W-L Records

I've been playing around lately and running a lot of sims (primarily with the MLB roster set). One thing I've noticed with the stats is that middle relievers throughout the league have a lot of decisions. I'm talking about guys going 5-12, 12-3, 10-5 and so on. I know it can happen, but it seems like every team has 1 or 2 guys with a lot of decisions (and not a ridiculous number of appearances).

Is anyone else seeing this when they sim? And is there any fixes for this that won't ruin statistics aimed at this era?

It seems like this is being caused because the computer is using relievers for much longer than the traditional one inning. They seem to be throwing them out there till they get completely tired. So instead of seeing a setup man with 1 inning per outing, they are getting a lot between 1-3 innings (which isn't normal).

Lower the reliever endurance algorithm in the game setup screen. FWIW, I really like the 1-3 inning outings by MRs because I like to use old-timey type rosters and back in the day when relievers were used to bail out bad starts instead of as automatic 7th inning plus guys these types of outings were common (as were the records - see Elroy Face or Dick Radatz).
