Question on the talent level of Draft
I am in an online league and this is what i noticed in our 2008 draft class. There were 19 players that had star ratings of 4-5. there were 12 players that had star ratings of 1.5-3.5. this means that as we enter the 2nd round every player is a 1 star. What strikes me is the unlikely situation were there are more 4-5 star prospects that 1.5-3.5 prospects. I would expect if there are 19 4's or higher there should be about 50-75 1.5 -3.5 prospects.
Is there a way to control the quality of the draft class that works? This league tried to upgrade the quality in a previous draft and we had about 300 5 stars- no exaggeration. So is there a way to get to adjust some controls to get close to what you are looking for. |

Having about 40% more available players than draft rounds has worked for me. Of course, you'll get 40% more 5 star guys as well. For example I have a 5 round draft and have the game create 7 rounds worth of players.

i don't think that is the solution. It seems that if the proportion of 4 -5 star players is greater than 1.5-3.6 when you increase the rounds it will still have more 4-5 players than the lower ones and that to me is the problem. it may be a game problem and something to be corrected in ootp9
