Logo help H.S. Baseball team

My brother directed to this site to see unbelievable logo designs. I'm the high school varsity baseball coach for the Klamath Union Pelicans. I want to get a new Pelican logo for the baseball team and was hoping some of you guys would like to submit some logos for consideration. School colors are red and white although we do have black alternative jerseys and we interlock the KU on the hats just like Kansas football helmets. Would be happy to send the best logo creator a t-shirt with his logo on it.

Can't wait for ootp 2007 looks great

Thanks Cephas, How is PSP coming along. I have been busy with house repairs the last week or so, today I'm putting up a new Ham Radio Tower..

Hey Oxidizer,

I like the logo ideas. Way better than I could come up with. Don't know how hard it would be to make the blue Pelicans script red , but that would be more to the color pallet I'm looking for. Also like the script on the middle one.

Also if you guys have an logo that would incorporate the KU with a pelican for our game hats it would be much appreciated. Thanks guys in advance for any suggestions.

Stormin,

Uniforms are done for this year as well as hats, but replacing our home whites next year and if a good pelican logo is created will adjust hats next year as well. Holding off on the practice t-shirts and the ones we sell to fans and parents to see if we can introduce a new logo design this year.

Thought I'd give this a try. More or less completely custom. Didn't want anyone to get in trouble with legal stuff. This is only a rough draft and would have to be cleaned up and probably made in a vector drawing program to suit your needs better. If it were up to me, I'd have just the pelican for a hat logo and this for a shirt/jersey. That orange should be red

Very nice uniform and really like the logo but agree it would need to be cleaned up or outlined to really stand out from a distance. Great stuff! Would really be interested in what your thoughts were on just the hat logo.

Like the klamath union script in the underline detail and the traditional look of the overall jersey. Amazing to create that from scratch in such a short time.

Get a hat design that would work and stand out in raised stitching would be happy to send you a cap also. Thanks for the work.

Looking forward to your logo ideas if you do get the time this weekend. My brother was right to direct me to this site because the couple of logos suggested are already far better than any suggested from people in this area.

Hat ideas. Hard to beat the stand-alone interlocking KU. I guess that's just my preference now that I think about it. Hopefully any ideas the board comes up with will help you guys.

Love all of those!! Any way you can blow them up without the hat background so I can get just the logo design to send off to New Era for hats

Not sure which of the 4 we'll use yet because I like them all, so I'll let the players pick their favorite and go with that one on at least the first hat.

Hopefully better late than never ... here's an idea drawn from scratch, so no copyright/trademark infringement issues ... tried to keep the lettering along the lines of what I saw on the Klamath Union H.S. website ... though I used Rockwell Bold for the lettering ... the pelican has "attitude" as you can see ... but that can be softened if need be ... just thought too many commercial pelican logos come across as passive ... in any event, Miles, thanks for the opportunity to "have some fun!"

There are no copyright issues with my logo submission; the High School name aside, the pelican is an original design of mine. You have my permission to present my logo design for consideration by the Klamath Union High School. In the event the logo is selected by the Klamath Union High School, I kindly ask that you or someone from the High School contact me (by email is fine) to discuss acknowledgment as the designer of the logo and the right to retain access to the pelican image in its original format or as may be editted. To be clear, I will not charge the Klamath Union High School any fee for this design should it be selected.
