Getting up to date with the game (OOTPBB2006)

Like I wrote eralier, I have been away from OOTPBB2006 for some time now. I am getting back into it finally after a very long stint of being sick. So basically I fell liek I am walking into a new game I've never played before because of the depth this sim has. This is why I am asking questions and hoping to get some enlightment on how to achieve the best possible experience. I am not looking to play an easy game where I win all of the time but rather a realistic experience where it may be possible a team in my league may nevevr make the playoffs in 100 years of play. Personally, I love those types of possibilities and overall thats what makes OOTPBB so great.

So anyways........

Firstly, a little info about my league;
* - It will be based on a 36 fictional team league based on two sub-leagues, four divisions per sub-league, four teams per division.
* - Full minors (AAA, AA, A, Rookie)
* - All Fictional players
* - Will be playing with coaches on
* - Will be playing with scouting on (thanks to those who helped me decided on this option )
* - Financials On
* - Rule 5 Draft on
* - Number of draft rounds are not yet decided yet but I am leaning on 30-35 rounds for the annual draft because of the number of teams involved. Please let me know if that is to little or to much please.

I need to know these few things before I dig deep into this deep sim because I feel like I've been away for a long time - which in that same amont of time I've felt I've forgotten pretty much everything I knew....LOL. If and/or when possible please be specific about utilities as to what they do, ect. thank you.

Now, I have heard of a great utility called the ""OOTP FaceTool". I've read the posts this utility was talked in great detail about but I am still not undertsanding how this works. Can someone please sum up what this does? Thanks.

I also have heard of a utility call "AULogo". What is this and what part does it play in the game? From what I gather it assigns logos to teams, ect?

I just need some help guys please. And I am sure some of you are wondering why O just do not read the posts my self....well I have tried. However, the condition I have and have been fighting off since June interfers with vision if I concentrate on any type of lighitn for a certain amount of time. This in return hurts my eyes but more importantly disables my ability to see clearly for a few minutes. It is somethign I did to my self that caused this (and no I didn't look at the sun to long... LOL )

Any help would be great. Thank you.

I am in no way making light of your situation and I do hope that you recover fully with little stress added to your life. That being said, I can't resist and I hope the humor is appreciated:

So your telling me that it's true that you could go blind???

I'm surprised he can type with all that hair...

But seriously, get well soon. Last year I nearly shot my eye out with a broken slingshot and it took 3 weeks plus to get to "normal."

I haven't yet gotten these programs yet (no time) or else I'd offer help. Good luck!
