No League champion in history

i created a multi league association, majors, japanese, mexican and mexican winter. i simmed a full season in automode and going thru the history i noticed that there were no league champions listed for the 2006 japanese season.

however, going through individual team histories, i can see that there certainly were league winners and a champion. just not showing up in the league history index (no links to click on)

Does it show up once you're past opening day in the following season?

quick update in case no one else has logged this:
no, the league champions dont show up the in the league history page once im past opening day in the following season. in fact, im well into the new season and the champions (or at least the links to the winning teams) are still not there. i think they may appear when the following season concludes.

Yes. Not a bug. You have to get past that date for the history to update itself.

sorry, im not clear on this. past what date?
it was just a bit annoying to have been at the all-star break of the following season and still not to be able to see last years champions. are you saying that you have to entirely finish the following season to see the prior year's playoff winners (in the lg history screen)?

So you are saying that the list of champions won't be updated until after the following year's World Series?

That may not be a bug.

It isn't smart either.

It sounds like a bug to me.

In my main league, I have many leagues including a Cuban League, Japanese League and a Venezuelan League. All of them updated the Champion for the previous season by the time the next season got under way. I'm not sure when exactly, but it seems to happen when the preseason begins (for the season that immediately follows).

yeah, and its happened with several different setups ive created. i have to either look at the past schedule to see the playoff brackets (and winners) or click on the indiv teams history to see their playoff appearances.

i autoplayed about 7 years worth for one particular setup and it was the same problem every year.

I just ran a league through the first season and the league champions showed up when the schedule is announced the following Februrary. So something fishy is going on in your game.

im gonna play around with this some more, but im not doing anything unusual in terms of playoff settings or related matter. typical setup with several leagues and some minors, but it seems like every league/sub-league has that problem. when i get back home tonite, ill run a few more tests to see if i can provide more details.

I have a league with a ton of divisions and its the same problem. In all my other leagues, it shows up no problem. But in this league, we've done 9 seasons and for five of them, there is no champion, while the other league in that same association has one.

So, its weird.

I had this problem in beta with a 10 division, 4 per team and I tt'd it and tested it after it was fixed and it was fixed.

What is your league structure for the league that is not displaying it?

Divisions and Teams....

For me, the league where it doesn't show up is 2 sub leagues, each with 12 divisions and 2 teams in each division.

one league had 2 sub leagues of 6 teams (1 div of 6 tms in each lg) each w/the playoffs set to 1 round of 7 games (the league champions playing each other).

the 1910 result in your image is pretty much what i see every time i finish a season. it seems like i have to finish the following season in its entirety before the previous post-season result appears in the league history. i havent seen only 1 team not show up on this screen though (like 1902), thats pretty weird as well.

In a 12 division 2 team, it is showing the history, but it is not showing it until Feb. 1 of the next year.

While not perfect, I am sure there are other things we would rather have fixed.

its not a major complaint by any means, i just wanted it noted as something to address at some point, whether this patch or next. btw, in my setup the champions did not appear feb 1st of the following year.

It's not a huge issue and I've since streamlined that league into smaller division setup and it worked well again, so...perhaps that was the trick. It's not a huge issue, but...more flexible playoff options were the only reason I had that many divisions to begin with.
